I’m fine, how are you? I’ve missed you more than you know
Good good... How long’s it been?
Seven months and some not that I’ve been counting
That long, huh? how did time go so fast?

silence stretches and nothing is said
We’re both perfectly happy to sit,
To just be,
Comfortable with nothing more.
So...
So. the question must be asked
Why’d you call? why stir up all I tried so hard to bury?
I just wanted to talk. this just talking means so much to me
Well, what shall we talk about? everything and nothing. Just don’t stop talking to me.
How did all of this come about?
How indeed?!
Taken by surprise and
Swept along for the ride
Why couldn’t’ we see this coming?
And would we have done any different
If we had?
I couldn’t say. caught in a storm with nothing but paper to shelter under
Good to know where we stand then.
shadowed by the heel of all those above us,
And where can we go from here?
No way but forward,
Forget the past
And feelings best left behind.
Gotta go now. Talk to you tomorrow?
